Example rapid hygiene promotion and social mobilisation plan

A short planning template for setting out a hygiene promotion and social mobilisation approach at the start of a response. It records whether a community assessment and a knowledge, attitudes and practices survey have been done, then uses a seven-column table to plan the problem, objectives, audience, barriers, motivations, channels and messages. A final section covers how you will monitor whether messages are reaching people, whether rumours are spreading, and whether behaviour is actually changing. Similar to the template above but shorter, and with the monitoring section added.
