Reflecting on different needs, challenges and capacities (keeping “PGI glasses” on throughout the training)

Learning objectives

By the end of the training participants will be able to: 

  • Explain that different individuals have different needs and face different challenges, with respect to dignity, access, participation and safety around WASH (including menstrual hygiene and incontinence). 
  • State some actions or ways that people’s different needs and challenges can be addressed or overcome as part of WASH programming. 

Materials and supplies required 

  • Pen, or laptop/tablet (for filling in the ‘reflection diary’ and taking notes)
  • Flip chart, post-it notes etc. (for summarising points during open discussion)
